Pros

Great place if you like working in a pack of rabid wild dogs.

Cons

When Kapsch took over our contract, I should have run. They want absolutely no feedback from employees and discourage employee growth. Everyone was looking for other employment. The turnover rate skyrocketed when they took over our contract. Everyone's mental health deteriorated and the management is disconnected or meek. Inadequate training and equipment to properly perform the job. Employees that like to sabotage others are promoted and rewarded. Good work is not only unacknowledged, but you are expected to do more work while receiving a pay cut. There is no room for advancement and there are salary caps in place. Everyone is terrified of the petty office tyrant but if anyone speaks up, they shut down the complaint.

Struggling... leadership is struggling to fix it

Pros

Great technological base. Highly competitive pay. Diverse opportunities all within one firm. Often a fun environment in which to work. They have some very talented Project Managers, Software Developers, select leaders, and Engineers that are inspiring to work with.

Cons

Senior leadership only seems to get involved when a project is going belly up rather than integrating early when things are going well. There seems to be a round of high fives after winning a bid then seeya in six months when you are vastly behind on deliverables due to resource conflicts. Occasionally a GM will join a meeting to provide input that makes it obvious to the rest of the team that they are out of touch and clueless. This furthers a lack of credibility among senior leadership. They didn't seem to promote to senior levels from within much. Rather they brought in senior leaders from outside that do not understand what it takes to deliver. Rash, half-baked, and seemingly uninformed decisions come from executive levels that seem to surprise directors and managers alike instituting fixes that are in a vain search for a problem. Seems like playing blindfolded darts.
