Pros

100% paid medical benefit. Thats it. Nothing else.

Cons

No promotion available for Koreans, top management rotates every 3-4 yrs, so the whole company culture change every 3-4 yrs. Too many middle managers with tenure. If you stick around for like 15 yrs, somehow, you will be promoted. All key decision makers are from S. Korea and locals are rarely get a VP and above, Below average pay level, but wants Ivy leaguer performance. What you pay is what you get. HR is a joke, messing up payroll, etc., nano-management, LG Korea has too much control of LGUS. Cant even hire one without LG Korea okays. Large benefit gaps between employees from HQ and locals.

Pros

Terrific people, excellent benefits, work/life balance is fair.

Cons

Cultural bias, top down budgeting for sales quotas that are aspirational not realistic. Lack of innovation for launch processes (repeat the same things over and over again), little to no focus on demand generation.

Toxic Contagious Organizational Cultural

Pros

They provide good compensation for specialists in the field. They also provide the rare benefit to cover all premium health insurance coverage.

Cons

The toxic culture is contagious. Bad habits such as being late or unresponsive to meetings, not including all team members and overall just bad communication etiquette is down right detrimental to an employee's development. When entire departments are having meetings and excluding full-time employees from attending "to keep coverage" is ridiculous. There are archaic systems in which are difficult to operate and when you ask for help, it's always a blame game to who is actually supposed to help. Customer focused mentality is a literally a foreign concept that is refused to be followed in the overall organization. Instead, there is a culture of arrogance and entitlement. The hierarchical environment just helps the permanent presence of mistrust and blame.
