* Good pay. * Relaxed dress code. * Decent benefits * Well-supplied for job needs. * Several holidays off, aside from PTO. * Nice facility.

Cons

* Some departments are chaotic and poorly managed. They have high turnover, erratic workloads, and shifting goalposts for what is expected of you. You won't hear about these details in an interview, yet everyone who works here knows which departments these are. * Changing departments requires a minimum of one year in your current position. * Taking a leave of absence requires negotiating complicated hurdles with a third party company whose mission is to try to deny your leave. * A lot of new jargon and terminology that is not well explained in your first month of work. * Convenient parking is often an issue. * Some safety requirements are arbitrary (compared to hospital work), some are unnecessary, and not universally enforced, creating confusion.
