It is a pretty good stepping stone for recent graduates to start building your resume. You learn a lot depending on what area you work although after a while the work becalmed monotonic.

Cons

Lots of favoritism and the pay is kinda low

Lots of overtime which means big checks.

Cons

Very short staffed all the time and demands of you to overwork hours per day and days per week. Usually worked 56-20 hours per week. Upper management doesn't really listen to lab problems as long as it doesn't affect turnaround time or final product.
