Pros

Some good coworkers. Good for learning experience for a day to day role in a reference lab.

Cons

Too much work. Lots of overtime. Some coworkers can be negative. Low pay.

Pros

Lots of paid leave and time off

Cons

Overly priced benefits, no 401k matching, employees placed in a caste system, promotions not based on work ethic or education, unsafe practices for patients, specimen integrity HIGHLY at risk. Under-educated employees hired, placed in positions with no training (company doesn't have a training program), and given unrealistic quotas to meet (by any means necessary) within the alloted 8 hr work period. I intentionally seek out physicians who do not send their patients' specimens to Labcorp.
