Pros

Company has made great effort in recent years to improve many things including benefits, culture and salary across many positions.

Cons

As a large company, some things move very slowly and occasionally need multiple levels of approval.

Pros

the pay was okay, I learned a lot about professionalism and I appreciated that they were willing to train people with no experience. This job really helped me get opportunities after it that I wouldn't have gotten otherwise.

Cons

Management have business degrees, not science. They're often hired in, not promoted from within the company. There are professionals there who work hard, but they should be honest and humble about the fact they aren't aware of the science that is going on. I had to basically train my supervisor. She had other duties so it wasn't the biggest deal though. When I left, they took away the job title I was performing because no one was qualified to do it. I was literally begged to stay. They should have appreciated me and paid me more money for the work I was doing way way ahead of time. WORST part: crazy overtime, crazy pressure to do the overtime "or else" usually there is no or else, it is intimidation and that is it. please feel free to leave at the end of your contracted shift! don't let them bully you out of your life like i did. I was promoted TWICE and never got a pay raise. Ridiculous. Also sexism can be bad, but as women will know it can be bad in any professional environment.
