      Great People, Poor Management

      Pros

      Some of the smartest and coolest people you will ever meet in the scientific community.

      Cons

      Pay is low and there is no room to negotiate. Will not fill open positions, instead will expect you to wear more hats. Remote/Hybrid work with flexible time off is a trap, you will never be able to take time off with a peace of mind. Not forthcoming with clients about timelines.

      * Good experience to manage complex project in terms of the sheer # of teams and people that could be involved * Great people to work with - not toxicity experienced yet * If you want to learn more about lab systems in healthcare, it's interesting * They are trying to build great features to be more digitally capable and improve both provider experience and patient experience around lab ordering and reporting * Great healthcare benefits * Flexible Time Off * They do respect your time off

      Cons

      * A very large organization so sometimes people don't fully understand their roles & responsibilities themselves which can leave a gap in your project if you're not careful * Large projects that run across many teams/orgs can slow processes down. Find ways to speed it up * Risk of having too many people involved in your project and have overlapping / duplicate roles & responsibilities
