Pros

The team I worked with was great.

Cons

Below average pay and very hard to grow. The company has no clear promotion criteria or even a ladder so you can see what the next position is. Most of the people stay because it’s easy and comfortable. The science is not innovative. The only reason they will stay around is because they prey off of sick patients ie how can we make more money off of long Covid patients. Clearly only care about the bottom line and not their employees or patients. Benefits are pretty terrible. Expensive health insurance and only 6 holidays.

Pros

Overall benefits and PTO are great in comparison to most entry to mid level lab jobs. Depending on your manager, schedule is very flexible. Potential for upward mobility.

Cons

Not very much pay incentive- very low yearly raise even with a good yearly performance review. Long hours and a lot of over time. High turnover for management (specifically lab ops) can result in poor leadership. Training is very hit or miss depending on leadership.
