Pros

A few of my coworkers have been very helpful to me in order to learn the ropes.

Cons

Our lab is almost always understaffed. Phlebotomists work hard everyday, but not enough appreciation from the management.

Pros

Part-time / Full-time positions available. There are always sites opening up in the area so there is always room for transfers. Lots of sites in the U.S.

Cons

Have to work in same position for 1+ year before transferring. Always short staffed so hard to get days off. Corporate mindset so everything is about $ and not about the well-being of the employees who literally bend over backwards to keep the company running smooth. Not a lot of room for advancement.
