LabCorp as an organization touches 10 of millions of lives each year. The focus on the patient, patient care, improving health and improving lives is why I do what I do and it is why we at LabCorp do what we do. The continued focus on our people are our strength provides opportunities for all to share and grow in their own ways. We are leaders in diagnostics and development with a vision for the future.

Cons

It is far to say that every organization has pros and cons. From my perspective one of the greatest challenges is the many disconnected IT systems in place brought on through the acquisition process. It is a daunting task to work to standardize to a single or a few Lab Management Systems and I can understand and accept the level of effort that is needed to undertake such a task. At times, this compartmentalization creates inefficiencies in information sharing and the delivery of timely results.
