      Lam Research provided excellent opportunities for advancement and likes to hire from within. Would pay for classes and certifications related to your job function.

      History of large layoffs occur when semiconductor demand slows.

      Pros

      Good, stable employment. Pays well. People are very nice and friendly. Clean campus. Management values people.

      Cons

      Not much accountability. People are either overworked and burnt out trying to carry entire programs on their backs or doing the bare minimum. Departments feel very siloed. Not as much responsibility or empowerment that I had at previous companies. I don’t get as much fulfillment here. Seems like it would be hard to advance career up through management.
