Not a good company to join if you want to further your career prospect
Pros
- Ample of overtime work - can be good and bad (That is if you are working at a workstation that is difficult and have lots of recurring issues) - Transport allowance & phone reimbursement is good - Benefits somewhat ok. Comparing to competition within the semiconductor industry - Peers are ok, depending on which team. Thus far, if require help from senior engineers most of the them quite helpful.
Cons
- Baseline salary is so-so (other companies are faring much better in this) - Relatively slow increment if you are not working on high level projects (or somehow not chosen by your own direct report supervisor/manager) - Lack of product training, a lot of times just OJT and the management just expect employees to work along the lines and try their best to satisfy customer. - Company direction is not working smart but to always fulfill customer just to get their blessing. Making customer in complete reliance of field engineer. - Absolute zero work life balance and no training provided to enhance own personal growth and development skills.
