1) You can expect to be called in during your holiday
2) Forced to take holiday that you don't want (this was in April at the start of the holiday year)
3) Motivation by intimidation
4) Told off for being too slow, despite it being the first time a task was performed!
5) Called for a manager who, before they even knew what I wanted, walked towards me shaking his head. Was then belittled in front of customers!!
6) Was called by management before 7am, was then told off before I started my afternoon shift for not answering my phone!
7) Constant last minute phone calls. The worst was being called at 15:45 and being asked to start at 16:15
8) Did 15 hours of overtime one week, then had 15 hours taken away from me for the rest of the month (this happened on more than one occasion)
9) My till crashed and did not know what to do (lack of training) rather than doing a lay away so I could move my till, the duty manager just carried on serving customers, leaving me stranded with a que of irate customers!!!
10) Staff ridiculed for being slow, despite the person in question only being with the company for 2 weeks!!
11) Constantly being asked to stay later (at the last minute)
