Pros

Good payment package, nice building, good equipment

Cons

Senior Management is very poor and does not encourage Middle Management to Develop or succeed. Working week was often 60 hours + while only contracted for 42. It was also impossible to take holidays and you were looked down on for it. There is always a sense of Management waiting for you to make a mistake and punish you rather than reward you. Overall a horrible place to be. In saying that this appears to be department specific. The Department in question also had a sexist policy which made it near impossible to be successful.

Pros

The company gives you a company car (GMC Terrain) an IPhone and there is European Travel and training for some Purchasing Managers.

Cons

This company has poor and unorganized leadership. Often asked to do the same task three or four times over due to terrible oversight. Terrible place to start your career due to lack of training and development. There is conflict with European Management style and American talent, people are often belittled and embarrassed as a coaching mechanism. Company doesn't follow through on promises and commitments. Poorly trained leaders and promote people not based upon merit, lack of consistency in promotional process. Seek elsewhere if you want a stable company who invests in its people and treats them well. Major issues with diversity and lack of minorities and women in leadership. A point and blame others (other departments, international counterparts) company culture... not one of team building and inclusion.

Pros

Good payment package, nice building, good equipment, promoted work life balance, interested in great place to work. Insightful to the retail market.

Cons

Unfortunately even some of the pro's such as promoted worksite balance and interested in a great place to work are just talk.
