Pros

Always extra hours available to bump up your pay each month. Good hourly rate. Duty managers get an extra £1 per hour on top of their hourly rate when they are the duty on shift

Cons

Customers are so so rude! Seem to think they have the right to shout at you to open other tills when there is a system in place for this

Pros

High entry salary. Good bonus when working during the weekend and bank holiday. Good staff when I was working.

Cons

Shift also very early when doing bakery (beginning 4am on Saturday). At the beginning I had a contract for 10 hours but I was working usually 20 up to 30. Not regular shifts, sometimes they ask you to stay over time last minute. Breaks are also bad, they are given when it is possible, so you can spend 6 hours working with no break at all.
