Pros

- everyone seems to enjoy being there - my manager was flexible as to when I could work - Great pay for the work you do - Lidl say they promote from within and it was true to some extent.

Cons

- my particular store did not follow the training and development plan. It pretty easy work to pick up as you go along and so not too much of a worry. - I assumed that being on the till would be rotated but that wasn't the case. Sitting on a till for 8 hours a day gets very boring. It also stagnates your development as you experience less of the other jobs that need to be done around the store. - Management does not seem to have much autonomy. Head Office decides pretty much every everything.
