After transitioning from the military I decided to take a job with Lockheed Martin. I have been gainfully employed and the benefits are great.

Cons

I have been gainfully employed but I've had to move to three different jobs doing similar duties.

Pros

Strong company with great numbers for investors. Good heritage of notable achievements. Good benefits. Good management culture in my experience.

Cons

Due to the nature of the business being mostly government contract driven, the company has been cutting back on all kinds of things over the last few years including staffing. Their are fewer opportunities to grow/advance in the area that I worked and this part of the company is being sold or divested due to underperformance.
