Solid Company to Start a Career At

Pros

- Really good 401k match and vesting up to 10% - Tuition reimbursement for pursuing a masters degree - Decent culture - There are a lot of older experienced people at this company and from my experience are really happy to mentor and teach younger folks their knowledge and skills if you are open to learning from them.

Cons

- Pay is not as competitive as other companies for Software Engineering. The 401k match does make up for this somewhat.

- nice PTO and benefits - wfh, very relaxed

Cons

Terrible management doesn't know how to handle software projects. It's a circus. Stay as far away as you can if you value craftsmanship. In addition, the specific staff I had to work with (Software Factory) have utterly thick-skulled practices. They're tyrants who are simultaneously 20 years in the past and in the future.
