Pros

At Lockheed you get to work on systems and products that have real and lasting impact to the security of the country. The products are cutting edge and exciting to work on and contribute to.

Cons

Being a prime contractor to the US government, impact from changes in the political environment and policies are felt intimately. Also, as the largest defense contractor in the world, the company is subject to quite a bit of litigation. As a result, the HR practices can be very bureaucratic and stifling.
