LM is a very stable company with a lot of interesting technologies. The company generally has strong ethical culture and is committed to performing for the customer

Cons

At a company this large it can be easy to get lost in the shuffle. The company itself is aging rapidly which will be a challenge in the next few years. The uncertainty of defense and other government contracts will be a interesting time for the company.

Lots of time off, good balance of life versus work. Offers different ways to take time off, not much pressure from management when it comes time to take time off.

Cons

Slow pace, lots of documentation and extensive processes. A lot of mandatory training and indifferent formal reviews and what not.

Pros

Lockheed Martin is a great company to work for overall, the benefits are great and the technology is astounding.

Cons

Management. At least at the current branch that I work for. There is no work life balance at this branch and my supervisor is very sexist. If you want a vacation you might as well forget about it. If you want to advance at this branch, unless you are a part of the "good ol' boy" club, forget about it.
