Pros

You gain a lot of exposure and experience. You don't have to worry about not having enough work. Lockheed pays for your masters. It is a friendly environment for the most part. You will make a lot of friends working for this company.

Cons

Management gets away with giving an entry level employee work meant for upper levels. Then, when it is time for your annual pay performance raise....lets just say, the raise they will offer you is a slap in the face with the amount of work you put in. Also, if you have a weak link in your group, expect to take on additional work. Don't be surprised if the weak link doesn't receive an discipline either. People who suck up the most and/or in LDP roles are more likely to get level increases or higher pay raises, even if they have no idea how to explain the reports they pull and put into Excel spreadsheets.

Pros

Good perks and work-life balance. Your peers and managers are general friendly and are willing to help out. Friends that you make there are great people as well. Stable company- this is where you go to if you want to work until you retire.

Cons

Very structured and old school. Promotions take a very long time and is based on seniority. Depending on who your manager is, he or she can micro manage a lot which does not contribute to a nice working environment. Difficult to retain younger talents as the company is so structured it is not very conducive for millenials.
