Pros

No micromanaging, open door policy, ease of communication.

Cons

Poor management decision making which was mainly due to lack of interest from executives. Managers are afraid to promote or give awards due to budgets and fail to realize how that affects career advancement for employees. Managers don't take pride in having the best team instead they think of ways to avoid having to give awards and recognition to meet the budgets set by executives.

Pros

Benefits, holidays, flex-time, most of the people I work with are great

Cons

The performance review system is ridiculous, even after it was re-worked for the 2012 year. Your direct manager obviously has no influence over your rating or merit, and I've acutally been told this by previous managers in the past on the old system and it is true for the new one as well. I've seen new college grads that are hired have luck with a decent starting salary and merit increases, but others can definitely be placed under a "black cloud" at no fault of their own. High turnover of the younger, new college grads even after a decent starting salary.

Pros

Great training, benefits, retirement and learn how to use a lot of different computer systems. Also, cool environment to work in if you like defense/aeronautics.

Cons

Have to wait a long time (three years atleast) to get promoted, pretty much just follow directions and run reports, not much autonomy.
