Pros

Flexible work hours, as long as you do your work and work the 40 hours a week you are required to work there are no issues. Great employees to work with, all very smart. Challenging work.

Cons

Constant layoffs every year for the past 4 years, due to federal government budget cuts.

Pros

The company name makes it sound as if you're working on something cutting edge or highly advanced. A majority of the work is from legacy designs from 20+ years ago. Benefits arent bad, not to say they're great, 401K matches half, no more pensions though. Some people are nice and easy to get along with, others will stab you in the back to get promoted, I've seen it happen.

Cons

Poor overall leadership. Too many managers and leads with similar job functions. The company itself promotes work-life balances, however the managers that you have to report to does not. The company uses technology that is so archaic that it only displays things in green and black. Takes forever to get anything done with the current processes they have implemented. Too much process kills creativity. Lack of employee appreciation. And high level management will still get their year end bonuses when they had layoffs, while regular employees never get any bonuses.
