Most leaders forget that the company is powered by civilians who can and should contribute and be valued for the independence of their thoughts, not soldiers obeying orders. Decision making is brutal, confusing, time consuming and involving of way too many people and ancillary organizations. Once decisions are made, many disregard them on behalf of their own agendas.
