The significant amount of bureaucracy and red tape is prohibitive to staying efficient and aggressive in a fast-paced industry. Lockheed can be very process-driven and allow corporate policy to drive decisions. This can be very impactful when pursuing international business where every negotiation is different, not the same ballgame we are accustomed to with US Government.
