It can be very hard to move up within this company depending on the program you are staffed on. If the program is doing well then the raises and promotions will occur, but otherwise the reverse is true. Sometimes it feels as if you are just a number and your manager in another office that is 4-5 states away doesn't know what you do let alone they don't have the ability to see what you do for your program team on a day-to-day basis. Work sharing can be difficult between offices as there are so many across the US.
