Great work life balance. 4-10 or 9-80 work schedules provide a lot of employee flexibility. I loved the managers within this company and the motivation to do great work to support the warfighter.

Cons

Rigid HR system can stifle growth of top talent.

Who you’re working for (Military). Pay for location is best (for salary employees). Flex Schedule - can make up time missed on off Friday’s / weekends. 4/10 work schedule.

Cons

Culture has only gotten worse over the years. No Virtual- job could be worked from home but management is very old school and refuses to allow this benefit. You’re either a good talker or a worker bee.

There is a lot of communication and technical skills to be gained and experienced at LM. The diverse and fast paced work environment pushes one to complete challenging tasks at hand in a short, concise, but planned out manner.

Cons

There is at times lack of communication between departments but tools like Slack help make up for these gaps frequently.
