Lockheed martin used to be a great company to work for. However, when I joined, I was promised a moon by my manager. Currently, little under a year, I am been moved around 7 mangers, yes 7. In my entire IT career, including working in India, Singapore and United States, Lockheed has been the worst experience in my life so far. They work in old, redundant technology, lazy people, have to report to office even tough you don't have to go to work. All crap, piece of joke. I wished people were better upfront with me when I joined.

> Excellent benefits > 9/80 work schedule is wonderful where offered > Job security is possible for those willing to roll with the ebb/flow and relocate if/when necessary

Cons

Lockheed's Engineering Leadership Development Program (ELDP) places too much value on inexperienced engineers and not enough on the expertise of seasoned engineers that join the company with many years of experience. Program Management in Owego, NY is very poor compared to Manassas, VA Innovation is not Lockheeds strength. They appear to buy companies after they successfully innovate. Processes are lagging
