Pros

Good company culture and ethos. Management are very supportive for employees to excel in their role.

Cons

Salary slightly less than competitive. Projects can be quite short but threre are a lot of options of them.

Pros

They have a really good 401k matching program. They contributed 50% on the first 8% and then an additional 6% at 100%....so it worked out they gave about 10% additional pay to your 401k. Lockheed seemed to as much as they could, try to be advance with software development. Really its the customers that push back against modernizing some things which is unfortunate. The whole job was a tightly run ship. You got multiple pay raises a year, there were clear lines of people in charge.

Cons

I think most of my gripes are working on a government program rather than Lockheed specifically. It's annoying to work on outdated tech so I left. Hindsight, Lockheed was in fact doing a lot right with good testing practices, very closely following agile, it was an organized ship.
