      Good Pay, Great Benefits and Easy to attain for College Hire

      Pros

      It was relatively easy to land a job here after college. The work is interesting and the company really works to give you the opportunity to advance. They also promote the matrix business model and they encourage moving between programs, even though the functional managers don't feel the same way.

      Cons

      The pay could be higher, but considering that I was able to get this job rather easily, I can't complain.

      Pros

      Very stable work environment. For better or worse you don't have to worry about going anywhere.

      Cons

      Coworkers lack talent and dedication, Management hires anyone with a decent GPA from college, no technical skill test! Pay is far below what you can get in commercial software companies. Not a place to be if you're a hard worker.

      Excellent but large corporation

      Pros

      Competitive pay, excellent benefits, ability to move to other companies or locations within the corporation. They also have a pretty large budget for employee training. Good people to work with.

      Cons

      Facilities can be old, but typical of 1960s military industrial complex. It's a large corporation so some of their rules or procedures may seem inefficient or archaic to someone used to a smaller company.
