Pros

Pay appears to be competitive, especially considering my minimal experience as an engineer when I was hired.

Cons

Most federal holidays are termed as “personal observances” (MLK day, Juneteenth, Veteran’s Day) that you are more than welcome to use your own PTO to have off. It is apparent that Lockheed Martin struggles to bring in/retain new talent, since even a relatively inexperienced worker can be handed large responsibilities very quickly. Outdated engineering principles hamper progress, with little room for individuals to voice concern in any meaningful way (git branch workflow is actively discouraged, in favor of “Just work on and push to Master since that’s faster”)
