Pros

One of the best 401k matchings offered in any industry (10% max) Salary band is smack in the middle of what is expected in the defense industry, yes it's not a FAANG salary, but it's very comfortable Depends on the location, coworkers, managers, etc, but overall they try hard to have a positive culture Overall, solid company. Might not be suited for ambitious job seekers looking for the highest compensation possible but good for someone wanting a stable, decent paying job.

Cons

The health insurance is kind of bad (HDHP only in Fort Worth). Things move slowly which means older tools, processes and ideas. Lots of older, more experienced people (20+ years) and new hires (5- years) but not many middle career folks.

Pros

Standard industry benefits with a really good 401k High deductible insurance sucks You get to work on cool projects

Cons

TLDR: No growth, no rotations and no technical leadership. No technical leadership out of college, really bad management and poor opportunity for growth. This is a company that internally complains about retaining new talent and it’s pretty obvious why. They encourage you to actively grow your own career which is great but do not internally actively encourage it with their actions. It’s hard to not get pigeonholed right out of college in your assignment and no matter what a recruiter tells you, they want you in your first role for two years before you can really transfer. That is of course unless you know somebody that can forcefully get you off your team.
