Lockheed Martin utilizes outdated technologies and isn't agile and quick to adapt like younger and smaller companies. Since it has a strong connection with the military and the military isn't always good at accepting and handling change, Lockheed Martin stays backwards along with it. Needless to say, for a company of this size and age, bureaucracy plays a large factor and often gets in the way of being productive.
The potential for career advancement isn't as great as I would have hoped for. Although programs for bright young employees do exist, the mobility and room to move upwards isn't really there for most.
