Great company but inconsistent leadership

Pros

Work with a great group of co-workers, plenty of projects and opportunities, and salary is very competitive for my area.

Cons

There is an inconsistency in the quality of middle managers. Some organizations have great middle management while others have managers that have been put into positions based on time in service or knowing the right people, not based on merit. Lockheed's medical benefits have been getting worse very fast every year for the past 5 years.

Very diverse environment and great place to learn. There is a great work-life balance and flexible hours.

Cons

No upward mobility. There is a lot of process and documentation that you must go through to get the smallest things changed, although the processes that needs changing, is to better process improvement.
