Lockheed Martin reviews about "benefit"

Have had bad experiences with incompetent team members. Often feel like marketing/sales mentality dictates over engineering principles. Over promising, under delivering feels like a common trend.

- Lots of reorgs & cultural initiatives that distract from meaningful work - Large complex organization. Getting anything done requires a lot of time and far too many meetings - Working for a giant defense contractor can lead to cognitive dissonance depending on your personal values and the current geopolitical situation

No remote options unless you happen to be grandfathered in Management can be a mixed bag. I've heard horror stories from some programs, but I haven't seen anything too terrible myself. It's also a big corporation at the end of the day so that comes with its own negatives

Lack of resources/mentor support. No WFH opportunities

very busy, they pay well because they expect a lot from you, no culture, very difficult to move from one department internally to another.

Large company can be slow

Poor management on some programs Micromanaging Lack of leadership

The only downside is the insurance. But I'm biased because I've had government insurance and it's way better.
