Lockheed Martin reviews about "training"

-Slow growth -Easy to get caught in middle management trap -Training is not great -Network can be difficult if you're fully remote -Salary is middle of road

- Must commute to office one day per week in business area positions, even if it doesn't make sense (corporate positions are fully remote) - Hiring/promotion process takes a LONG time: my L2 promotion took 4 months and L3 offer took 2.5 months - Recently offered internal promotion to Sr. Accountant, but were not willing to negotiate or counter surprising lowball offer (and also wanted me to change schedules/vast increased hours with no training help) - New management and executive teams have led to a lot of people leaving for fully remote jobs. They're trying to cut costs and not force internal layoffs.

Onboarding training isn’t the best

Charge numbers provided for work are limited. Swim lanes are constricting.

a bit overwhelming if there isn't proper training.

Too many micromanaging managers, not enough workers. Lots of turn around in facilities and management can’t figure it out. Union leadership and representation makes you stagnant and incapable of growing your knowledge and skills. Facilities equipment is outdated and leadership is in a run to fail mentality and then won’t pay for expensive parts even when it does fail. No training to stay current on industry technologies. Do not get duped thinking you are going to work for the best or an industry leader when you go to work for Lockheed Martin Space, they build spacecrafts in barns.

Poor onboarding and lack of training
