Pros
Fair pay, fair treatment. Relatively low-stress environment with plenty of opportunity for advancement. I'm pretty free to do whatever I think needs being done, even though I'm in a sales position. Good benefits package. There's also a stock purchase program where you get 15% off the market price. Plenty of opportunities to expand your pay beyond your hourly rate.
Cons
Not much autonomy at the store level. Everything seems to be centralized higher up. Almost feels like they don't trust the individual stores to run themselves adequately. Seems to be an odd balance on how they determine how much they pay entering cashiers and entering sales positions and lower management.
