      Difficult place to work

      Pros

      The everday people (non executive) are some of the nicest and smartest people you can work with. You can make in impact immediately and see your work in production. No red tape.

      Cons

      The Pay for the positions is some of the lowest I have ever seen. The insurance cost is not even worth having. The Sales Group has no clue what they are selling. The Executive group is only about the bottom line. People are just numbers.

      Smart engineers, good team, interesting varied work

      Cons

      Slow advancement, clueless directors, quarterly mindset, end of quarter crunch, trained our customers to ask for discounts at the end of quarters, just in time procurement makes us constantly late on shipment, decision makers have no idea how anything gets done in the company, poor use of available space, turning away from innovation, performance metrics pit internal groups against each other, this company is one big metrics game

      Pros

      The people I work with are great and generally speaking want me to succeed. In my experience, if you ask for help people are willing to give it, but people are busy and you have to ask. The executive committee has made a real effort to improve communication and I think its working. There is also currently a lot of work being done on the facility which is nice. During the pandemic, they have been very accommodating to ensure employee safety while maintain productivity. I have a lot of room to grow and a lot of people willing to help me get there.

      Cons

      On-boarding is tough. MTS has so much tribal knowledge and it can be hard to learn what is going on. The products are hard to understand and there is not a great knowledge base that is easily accessible.
