Pros
I appreciate that I can work at my own pace. If I want to advance in my position, or even change my position, I am free to do so. The network of sharp and intelligent women inspire me as I work to reach my own goals. I have so many people to encourage and even help me attain those goals as well. The product is awesome and very comparable to other products in the beauty category. We, as consultants, receive continuous training and education whenever we want it.
Cons
The only downside for me is that when I don't work...I don't get paid. Go figure!

Your in business for yourself but not buy yourself, There is no glass Ceiling, The harder you work the more you can make you can put God, first family second and career 3rd-- Work out of your home and still get paid an executive income More women in MK make over $30-$50,000 than in any other corporationin the US. We have more women that earn over $100,000 and last year one NSD made over 1 million dollars in just 1 year her highest pay check for one month was over $140,000 yes that is not a typo one hundred and fouty thousand dollars for one month Be your own boss, Flexable hours, Car program, Prizes, awards and recognition, quailty of the product, Quality of the training Tax benifts are huge-- need a tax break start an in home business while you make extra money along side your family and other activities --get a much bigger tax refund at the end of the year and get all you cosmetics at wholesale if that is not a reson to try MK Save money and make money We are the #1 brand of facial and skin care for over a decade we are in over 30 different countries And Yes we our recession proof top 3 companies that are recession proof --Achohol, tabboco, and Cosmetics We are not on the stock market because we are a family owed business Mary Kay corporate in Dallas Texas let us know we our the best finacially sound Mary Kay has ever been in 45 years need extra money try MK our mission is to enrich Womens lives you can start on a part time basis, you don't have to quite you full time career to give Mary Kay a try We our not a Pyrimid or mutilevel company we are called duel Marketing' anyone can pass anyone to the top

There is no downside. But you do own your own business you are a independent Beauty consultant -- This is not a JOB, this is a career. It is 100% commission based. Some may say that is a downside that is if your lazy and have no ambition anyone can be successful in Marykay if you willing to work and pay the price You have 2 choices in life--- work hard for someone else and make them rich or work hard for yourself and make yourself Rich. in any job there may be part you don't like yes you will hear NO's but you will also hear yes's this is a simple business but not always easy. But name anyone that is successful and had an easy road, not many this is much easier than what most people have to do to become successful Remember no matter what you do you must work hard to be successful, Mary Kay is no different But you do get paid what youe worth, not what a job is worth no one can fire you lay you off, the company is not going under, you don't have to put your kids in daycare go to the company web sight for more info www.marykay.com
