Pros

I can do what I want when I want to do it! I make my own schedule and I decide when I am ready to take on more responsibilty! I like the fact that I am in control of my future, not someone else. I can decide if I want to go slower or faster, it is all about what I put into it. I am not saying that this is an easy, get rich quick thing, but it is deffinalty what you make of it. If you are a go getter and are motivated, then this would definalty be a great choice for you. The training and encouragment they offer are by far the best I have ever seen

Cons

You only get paid when you have work, it is commisions based. If you are really busy or put it on the back burner, you are not going to see the income you would like. The products do sell themselves and are 100% guarenteed, so you really have nothing to loose. You have to do the work though, it is not just given to you.

Pros

It is a fantastic company to work for because it is a company created by Mary Kay Ash for women to build their own businesses. It is easy to learn, and the training is phenomenal. You just have to show up! Our products are second to none, and when people try them, they want to buy them! The business opportunity is a fabulous one, and there are more women in Mary Kay making over $100,000 than any other company in the US! Our skin care has been rated number one for the last 15 years, and it is because of our customer service and product1

Cons

Chargebacks. When a consultant sends back product, I don't think we should be penalized for it. We try very hard to get them to stay! Sometimes it is not our fault that consultants quit.

Pros

You are self employed, you are able to work when you want, when you need to, and take time off when ever you need. Scheduling your skin care classes is all up to you. You get to meet the most wonderful people and help others as well feel more confident and beautifull about them selfs.

Cons

When you become a Beauty Consultant, if you truly want the job and want to be self employed you must have the ambition and self motivation no matter what self employed job you have.
