Pros

Depending on your manager's mood, you may get flexible hours or alternative work arrangements. They've eroded health benefits, support services, and eliminated just about every other meaningful benefit. They won't even buy you a McDonalds lunch, if they schedule a meeting over the lunch hour.

Cons

Easterbrook is only focused on delivering shareholder value. He does it at the expense of employees, and begrudgingly for customers.

Pros

With my experience, the work a crew member is very simple. My managers were flexible with scheduling hours, if you needed to change your breaks or switch shifts with another coworker, they were able to work something out. We also get paid weekly which is nice.

Cons

You have to be really patient with your coworkers and with customers, stress and simply rude people come with the job. It can be stressful because the work is fast paced, so you be sure to stay attentive.

Pros

On the franchise side, it is more like working for a family. They try to connect with their employees and provide understanding. The working conditions are pretty good and their is work life balance. They provide opportunities for company growth to people who otherwise may not receive the opportunity for management. They just have to be willing to put in the effort.

Cons

Some people are so small minded when they think of Mcdonalds. You are forced to manage some people that are not motivated and only want a check. In addition to that you are dealing some challenging customers who only wants to give you a hard time.
