Pros

Its a job, good at times and bad at others. I like doing what I do but after crew members repeditly call in or just plain do not listen and management does nothing or just lets them slide it gets a little tireing. All in all I like working at McDonalds it just needs to pay more...

Cons

Overworked at times and always underpaid. I can go get a job at say...Wal*Mart as a CSS and starting pay is more then i'm making at the moment. Only reason I know this is because I am a manger at a Walmart McDonalds.

Pros

McDonalds was an easy job to progress in as my first job. The management was not overbearing or intrusive and respected the varying workload college put on me. The systems and processes in place to quickly serve food are very well though out and I learned alot about time management.

Cons

Working for McDonalds is not really a job to be proud of, it is a simplistic job that requires no skill set. The work is harder than other job where I have been paid more.

Pros

The pay is decent compared to other fast food restaurants, the hours are flexible and it's easy to get time off. There are also employee discounts on meals during shifts.

Cons

There is no individuality in this job. The work is mundane and boring. As far as career opportunities go? You could eventually be promoted to General Manager which I never wanted to begin with. The second McDonald's starts paying you a salary you automatically give up many other aspects of your life, for example higher education. It might work part-time if you're really strapped for cash, but as far as making a real career of it? No thanks!
