1. Unclear corporate strategy. R&D based? Acquisition based? I don’t know. 2. Multiple re-orgs to try and get the right operating model but none seem to work so far. Needs better org design people/consultants as each change just burns money with nothing to show for it. 3. Perks no longer as good as they used to be; good people leaving. 4. -Lowest on the pay scale in the specific industry I was in. -No Clear Direction -Upper Management really did not support the team when needed. -Poor Financial Management lead to this huge Layoff going on currently. -The training department was absolutely horrible regarding making sure the sales team was ready to sell the products. It's literally fast tracked to where there are no role plays, they go over the product once, and move on. Someone that has been in the medical industry for years could come in and still not understand the products and how they work. - The tech support department was abysmal, where a customer would call in a problem with their capital equipment, only to be either hung up on, or sit on hold for hours to be hung up on, which would often lead the reps to try and figure out a solution they were not capable of finding out. -They went through a re-org about a year ago, and are running into the same problems they did before the re-org. - I know this goes without saying, but I was told twice that they wanted to promote me into a different position, only to be sideswiped and let go, because my position was eliminated due to a "cost structure initiative".
