Wonderful people who are passionate about the mission statement. Good opportunties to move within the company to be continually challenged and grow in new directions. On-site training opportunities are endless. Both corporate and CRDM headquarters have on-site fitness facilities, cafeterias, coffee shops, banking, and minute clinics.

Cons

Big company bureaucracy slows things down. Upward mobility within business units is challenging, so moving between business units or divisions is necessary.

Medtronic is a company that truly cares about the development and advancement of its employees. A very structured corporate career ladder provides a lot of security to employees and provides clear expectations for advancement.

Cons

The company is very large and many managers manage 15+ people which leads to a bit of disconnect sometimes. Overall it is great but face time with your manager may be hard to come by.

stable company with large product line and many products in the pipeline. The culture is very competitive so one is kept on their toes

Cons

very competetive, much restructuring going on, different divisions do not have same work guidelines or follow same SOPS, not very open to change
