You will likely work with a lot of bright people, a lot of great opportunities for interesting projects if you are in the right field

Cons

Like anywhere, some middle managers where it is really hard to identify their value-add. The company can be pence wise/pound foolish at times, throwing millions at a project that gets hyped to the point of being funded in a major way, only to be cancelled a couple of years later, while much more modest, straightforward projects with budget of 100K or less get ignored even though their value is straightforward.

Solid company, good benefits, good work life balance is definitely one thing that this place has going for it. Team oriented organizations.

Cons

Culture change and not necessarily for the better (more rigid). Too many layoffs and inter company re-structuring. Career growth based on current limit look bleak.
