      Pros

      Meltwater was a company I took a chance on. I had a Master's degree and was super qualified for a lot of bigger positions. I wanted to get into a company I could grow very quickly and have the chance to run my own business. I love the entrepreneurial spirit and the culture was something I couldn't find elsewhere. You get to work with young, inspiring people and move into management roles very quickly. Within 2.5 years, I got the opportunity to move to a new city and run my own office.

      Cons

      I was a little worried initially about the compensation model since the base salary was lower than most positions I was considering. The base salary is one of the smallest portions of the model. You are overly compensated with bonuses and commission. It was definitely a lot of hard work in the beginning, but well worth it!

Arguably one of the best platforms to springboard into the world of B2B sales with quick progression through the ranks being very attainable. Most step up into a management role within their first year of working at Meltwater. Meltwater awards its employees hard work and determination to succeed both in fast career development and in wage compensation. Very easy to earn a substantial chunk of change in your first year out of College.

      Cons

      No huge issue here for me personally. As long as you don't mind working hard for your career and putting in the work required to succeed you will be fine.

      Pros

      Very much a work hard, play hard atmosphere Company is full of young people so it's a great place to start right out of college. Culture is excellent - people are energized, engaging, motivated to achieve excellent results

      Cons

      Tough work-life balance, especially when you first begin but it evens out after the ramp-up period Day to day tasks can be a bit tough but those who stick it out absolutely reap the rewards!!
