Pros

The lunch perks are nice

Cons

It is nearly impossible to get a pay raise at Meraki. I worked or 3+ years and was treated as a disposable call center agent. Please avoid Meraki support if you're looking to build a meaningful career. As you progress, you will be forced into the high-touch call queues, and will not be given any compensation for it.

Pros

Hybrid work: employees have the option to be in office or work from home Free breakfast, lunch, and snacks while in office. Great position if you are seeking an entry level networking role to get your feet wet. Cisco certifications are covered by the company.

Cons

Great chance of being underpaid. I would find myself training new people that made more than myself, although I was in a Senior Engineer role. Constant back to back calls with very little room to release to work on cases. May find yourself working before or after work on cases just to stay afloat. No bump in pay when being moved from regular support to Sr Eng Support. Takes way too long to get bonus weekend pay paid out. Sometimes can take months before seeing the pay.

Pros

- Fast place to learn all the networking concepts - You will be on a fast track to learn FW, SD-WAN, Switching, Routing (Mostly static), Wireless knowledge which will be helpful in future roles - Work culture is good - Teams are supportive and you won't be alone with the issues - We used to get Free Lunches when we were in the office

Cons

- No real salary raise, I only got 1 salary raise in 3 years and it was 6% - No appreciation for the amount of work - Constantly forced in the queue - Talent retention is bad - Company is okay with letting go of old employees and hiring new ones with a huge salary compared to one who left - Hiring rate for the new employee is very bad
