Pros

Meta pays top dollar among FAANG companies and is a great place to work with really good benefits. Dev environment is really good and internal tools help me work faster. Growth here is crazy. You can get promoted from E3 to E5 in 2 years. Mark has a Company wide QnA every week.

Cons

The new privacy improvements have slowed engineering down and constant exaggerated scandals cause my income to fluctuate (because of stock price fluctuations). There’s a lot of woke-ism as is typical for FAANG and I feel it overshadows product development, but I do see the long term communal benefits of investing in these initiatives. There is no official pressure to perform, but there is peer pressure.
