      Pros

      Endless benefits, great compensation, diverse work environment (at least in my area). At FB, being encouraged to take PTO isn’t a publicity slogan that they discourage behind closed doors — I have been continually encouraged to take my PTO and put my mental health first at no expense of my career progression.

      Cons

      Having to constantly defend FB to people who only know about the company through popular news outlets. Large company bureaucracy means you can run into red tape, which can be at times prohibitive when working in technology stacks.
