Pros
Great pay and benefits. Great offices with plenty of amenities. Laid back culture (or at least that's what I felt), where your time was respected and I was not bothered outside of office hours.
Cons
1. The laid back culture is a 2-way street, where some people took advantage of playing 'busy' and work was not getting done or was pushed over. 2. Too much talking, not enough execution. I joined Meta thinking I'm joining a pool of highly skilled people and that I'm gonna learn so much. But in my 3 years there 70% of the people I came across were just yappers. Everyone had ideas, no one wanted to execute them. 3. Calls culture - some days were just 8h of calls, out of which 6h could have been short emails. 4. Objectives can change every 6 months based on how the company's direction changes. Which means you can work 6 months to fulfill your projects and achieve your KPIs and then it can get dropped because it's not a 'goal' anymore.
